This Summer Holiday, Join Nonsuch Studios for up to 3 amazing FREE weeks of creative arts and activities at Keyworth Young Peoples Centre.

For Primary School aged children 5-11 who receive free school dinners, this summer provision if for you!

Over the summer , participants will work with amazing artists, creatives and Nonsuch Studios' incredible team to get creative, have lots of fun, make crafts, explore drama, play games and have a great time.

With plenty of opportunities to create, make friends, share ideas and take part in an amazing Silent Disco,games tournament and making performances, your children are set to have some amazing creative adventures with us this summer!

Each day participants will also receive a FREE lunch thanks to this project being part of the Holiday Activity Fund, Free Fun & Food Programme.

PLEASE NOTE: To be eligible to attend this project for free, participants must be in receipt of Benefits related Free School Meals and you must provide your HAF number.

Where do I find my HAF number?

A HAF code is a code that is uniquely allocated to each eligible child. Parents/carers of eligible children will have received this code at the top of the HAF letter sent to your home address

Register for a HAF code

  • To obtain a HAF code Families must receive benefits-related free school meals. (This differs from universal free school meals that all children in key stage 1 receive)
  • HAF codes and registration for free school meals can now be obtained from Nottinghamshire County Council Customer Service Centre. Contact us at 0300 500 8080.
  • If residents are not currently receiving benefits-related free school meals, you can apply through this link.

Not eligible for Free School meals but could still benefit from this programme?

We have a small number of places available for those who are not in receipt of Free School Meals but for families who self identity as being vulnerable or in-need.

Lead Facilitators

Sophie Jane Corner

Sophie Jane Corner studied Acting at Demontfort University. Since then she has gained credits within film, theatre and commercial work. She specialises in physical theatre and continued developing her craft with Frantic Assembly workshops, as a Vinyasa Yoga Teacher and most recently unarmed and rapier training with Kiel O'Shea. Sophie enjoys creating spoken word through her platform "In Limbo Phase" and creating performances that connect with audiences on a visceral level. She is currently writing and producing her first film 'Hindsight' hoping to release later this year. Sophie has worked with children since 2016 teaching; dance, drama and singing.

Jordan Laidley

A Nottingham based Creative who has years of creating for family theatre and children's theatre including early years. Jordan also has over a decade of running holiday camps including creative boot camps.Jordan has worked and helped with the improvement of YMCA’s Camp Williams and YMCA’s creative academy in Nottingham and Newark which has been a massive success since it inspection.As an artist Jordan is an actor, rapper, writer, song writer. He is a New Perspective Alumni and a Jellyfish Theatre creative here he has helped create and develop a show called “the wagon of dreams” as well as a associate director within Lit theatre. Jordan will guide you through a world of excitement and has the energy to make anything become a possibility of a positive.
