Assistant Youth Theatre Facilitator

Since 2015, Home Rangers has been a safe space for participants from the home-educated community to explore creativity, drama and theatre through adventure, imagination & child - led discovery. Participants engage in a wide range of skills and theatre approaches such as mime, puppetry and acting to camera. Working together, the group feel supported in developing themselves as creatives as well as individuals.

Assistant Facilitator Role

We are looking for a vibrant and creative assistant facilitator to support our Home Rangers’s lead facilitator to ensure sessions are dynamic, exciting and safe; responsibilities include:

• Checking attendances and tickets
• Housekeeping of the session: arrival, dismissal and room set-up
• Creating a trustworthy relationship with participants and carers
• Assisting in running activities led by the lead facilitator
• Leading small groups in break-off activities
• Being a vocal support for participants to develop their creativity. 
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of participants
